Deborah Cicurel

Deborah Cicurel was born in Israel in 1965. She grew up in a small town in the Galilee region of northern Israel. Her father was a carpenter and her mother was a homemaker. Cicurel began cooking at a young age, helping her mother in the kitchen. She later trained as a chef at the Tel Aviv Culinary Institute. After graduation, Cicurel worked in several restaurants in Tel Aviv before moving to London in 1988. There she worked as a chef at the prestigious Grosvenor House hotel. In 1992, she returned to Israel and opened her own restaurant, Deborah's Kitchen, in Tel Aviv. The restaurant quickly became popular, and Cicurel soon began catering for private events and parties.
